Demi Vollering Conquers Her Second Tour With A Show Of Strength In Nice

Demi Vollering sealed her second Tour de France Femmes title in emphatic fashion, winning the final stage alone on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. The FDJ United-SUEZ rider began the day with only eight seconds over Katarzyna Niewiadoma-Phinney, but turned that narrow advantage into an uncontested victory.

The 99.2-kilometre circuit included four ascents of the Col d'Èze. Canyon-SRAM made the race extremely selective before Niewiadoma-Phinney attacked on the steep Chemin du Vinaigrier. Vollering answered every acceleration and launched her decisive move 800 metres from the summit. She then increased her lead on the descent and the run to Nice, finishing 1:04 ahead of Paula Blasi and Niewiadoma-Phinney.

Vollering completed the Tour with a 1:18 advantage over Niewiadoma-Phinney, while Elisa Longo Borghini took third at 4:29. After her first Tour victory in 2023 and runner-up finishes in 2024 and 2025, the Dutchwoman returned to the top of the race. Her triumph also completes a remarkable Giro-Tour double in the same season.
