Kim Le Court Strikes Again And Conquers The Hills Before Ventoux

Kim Le Court-Pienaar claimed the sixth stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes after winning the sprint from an eight-rider group in Tournon-sur-Rhône. The Mauritian champion beat Cédrine Kerbaol and Puck Pieterse to earn her second career stage victory in the race, one year after her first success.

The 153.4-kilometre route from Montbrison featured six classified climbs and more than 2,500 metres of elevation. Paula Blasi tried to revive her Tour by attacking with more than 50 kilometres remaining on the Col de Lalouvesc, but the Spaniard was considered too dangerous and her move was quickly controlled.

A strong group formed on the technical descent, with Elisa Longo Borghini, Liane Lippert, Kerbaol, Pieterse and Célia Gery among the riders who escaped. Le Court-Pienaar managed to join the front despite suffering a late mechanical problem and changing bikes, then remained calm through the attacks before using her superior speed in the sprint.

Longo Borghini gained 26 seconds on the yellow-jersey group and moved closer to the leading positions. Marlen Reusser remains first overall, 12 seconds ahead of Demi Vollering and 1:17 ahead of Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney. Blasi finished 12th at 28 seconds and stays tenth overall, 3:51 behind, as the race prepares for its decisive summit finish on Mont Ventoux.
