Milan Makes It Three From Three And Rules The Tour De Pologne

Jonathan Milan extended his perfect start to the 2026 Tour de Pologne by winning the third stage in Zielona Góra. The Italian champion has now taken all three stages contested and strengthened his grip on the leader's jersey before the race reaches the mountains.

The 193.5-kilometre route from Gorzów Wielkopolski ended in another bunch sprint after the day's breakaway was caught. Lidl-Trek kept the finale under control and delivered Milan into position, allowing the powerful sprinter to finish the team's work in 4:11:51.

Noah Hobbs finished second and Alessandro Romele took third, while Paul Magnier, Milan's main rival during the opening two stages, crossed the line in 14th place. Iván García Cortina was the best-mentioned Spanish finisher in 23rd.

Milan's run has given him complete control of the opening phase, but the character of the race now changes. The fourth stage to Karpacz provides the first true mountain test, where the general-classification contenders will try to end the sprinter's reign and reshape the standings.
