Picnic PostNL denies plans to leave the WorldTour in 2027
Picnic PostNL has denied reports that it plans to step down to ProTeam level in 2027. A spokesperson told WielerFlits that preparations are continuing for both the men’s and women’s squads to race at WorldTour level next season.
The response followed speculation published by Velo-Club.fr. The team says it does not envisage the proposed step down and intends to maintain its development squad at Continental level.
This confirms the team’s stated plans, rather than a new UCI licence award. According to WielerFlits, the men’s squad received a one-year WorldTour licence for 2026 and is confident of securing one for the following season.
