Roglič wins European time trial title on home roads

Primož Roglič won the elite men's European time trial title in Šenčur, giving Slovenia a home victory on the final day of the championships. The 36-year-old set the fastest mark at both intermediate checks on the demanding 22.1-kilometre course and held his advantage to the finish.

Bruno Armirail took silver six seconds behind, while fellow Frenchman Maxime Decomble completed the podium. Roglič rode without radio information after losing communication in the opening kilometre, relying on his sensations through the steep Možjanca climb and the descent to the finish.
