Davide Piganzoli wins the Tour de Luxembourg

Davide Piganzoli secured the overall title at the Tour de Luxembourg after safely negotiating a spectacular final stage won by Mathieu van der Poel. The Italian finished fourth in the same time as Pepijn Reinderink and protected the yellow jersey on the demanding 177-kilometre route to Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.

Piganzoli had moved into the race lead after finishing second on stage 3 and then strengthened his position by winning the 20.4-kilometre time trial. He completed the final podium ahead of TotalEnergies teammates Mattéo Vercher and Thomas Gachignard, earning the third professional stage-race title of his career.
