Emilien Jeanniere joins Groupama-FDJ through 2029

16 Sep 2026

Emilien Jeanniere will leave TotalEnergies at the end of the season to join Groupama-FDJ United on a three-year contract through 2029. The 27-year-old French sprinter takes the next step in his career after establishing himself as one of the strongest finishers outside the WorldTour.

The move gives Jeanniere the chance to test his speed more regularly at the highest level and strengthens Groupama-FDJ's options in bunch finishes. His profile also fits demanding one-day races, where positioning and the ability to survive a selective route are as important as pure speed.

For the French team, the signing is a medium-term commitment to a rider entering his prime. For Jeanniere, it opens a route towards the biggest races and the opportunity to chase a stage victory at the Tour de France.
