Ayuso and Mas lead Spain's men's team for Montreal

Juan Ayuso and Enric Mas will lead Spain in the elite men's road race at the World Championships in Montreal. Carlos Verona, Ivan Romeo, Raul Garcia Pierna, Marcel Camprubi, Markel Beloki and Igor Arrieta complete the eight-rider squad for the 273-kilometre race on September 27.

Camprubi, Beloki and Arrieta will make their Worlds debuts, while Ayuso will first race the Quebec and Montreal Grands Prix. Romeo and Spanish champion Pablo Castrillo will contest the 39.7-kilometre time trial on September 20; Castrillo will only ride the time trial.
