Shirin van Anrooij joins Canyon-SRAM through 2029

Shirin van Anrooij will leave Lidl-Trek to join Canyon-SRAM on a contract running through 2029. The agreement starts on November 1, 2026, allowing the Dutch rider to represent her new team from the beginning of the cyclocross season rather than waiting until January.

The 24-year-old has spent almost seven years in the same team structure and has developed into a leading multi-discipline rider. Her road record includes victory at the 2023 Trofeo Alfredo Binda and podium finishes at the Tour of Flanders and Amstel Gold Race, alongside major results in cyclocross.

Canyon-SRAM adds a rider capable of targeting the Classics while maintaining a programme across several disciplines. The long contract gives Van Anrooij time to continue that development in a new environment.
