Leknessund leads Uno-X one-two in tribute to Norway

Andreas Leknessund won stage 7 of the 2026 Vuelta a Espana after finishing a long breakaway on the climb to Aramon Valdelinares. The Uno-X rider attacked five kilometres from the finish and beat teammate Tobias Halland Johannessen by 34 seconds, with Wout van Aert third at 47 seconds.

Uno-X completed an emotional Norwegian one-two on the day King Harald V died. The team raced with black armbands, and Leknessund dedicated a victory achieved after 149.8 kilometres and five classified climbs to his country and its late monarch.
