Pogacar avoids a crash on the El Bartolo descent

Tadej Pogacar narrowly avoided a crash on the descent of El Bartolo during stage 6 of La Vuelta. The race leader entered a concrete corner too quickly, braked hard and left the road, but kept control of the bike and continued without falling.

Enric Mas moved ahead during the incident, but Pogacar quickly returned to the road and regained contact. The two riders then worked together to finish 46 seconds ahead of the other favourites before Pogacar won the sprint in Castello.
