Roglic loses ground and drops to third overall

Primoz Roglic conceded 46 seconds to Tadej Pogacar and Enric Mas on stage 6 of La Vuelta. He initially followed the leader on El Bartolo but was unable to hold the pace when Pogacar attacked four kilometres from the summit.

Roglic finished in the chasing group with Richard Carapaz, Felix Gall and Harold Tejada. He is now third overall, 4:21 behind Pogacar and 47 seconds behind Mas, with Carapaz fourth at 4:50 and Gall fifth at 4:55.
